About Us
The Counting House Nurseries are a family-run business, established in 2006. From our beginnings as a small single nursery, we have grown into a group of four unique nurseries, each offering a nurturing and inspiring environment for children. Three of our nurseries are located closely together in Kirklees and are known as The Counting House Nursery.

Our fourth nursery, The Counting House at Headingley in Leeds, opened recently in April 2025.
At The Counting House at High Street, we also offer a popular Breakfast, After School, and Holiday Club, providing wrap-around care all year. More details are available on the Afterschool/Holiday Club page. While all four nurseries share the same name and values, each one is unique. They differ in size, layout, resources, and atmosphere, offering a distinct experience in every location. A visit is the best way for parents to appreciate the individual character of each nursery. We operate an open-door policy, and parents are welcome to visit any time without an appointment.
