Nursery Fees/Funding Information

Invoices

Annual invoices are issued each year on 1st September. Parents will not receive monthly invoices unless there are changes to sessions or fees. An annual statement is provided alongside your invoice, showing how fees are calculated.

Deposit

A £50 booking fee/deposit is required when securing a place. This deposit is to secure your child’s place at nursery and is non-refundable.

Payments/Notice Period

Fees can be paid weekly or monthly by cash, cheque, or credit/debit card. 4 Weeks written notice is required if you wish to give up your child’s nursery place.

Extra Sessions & Absences

Extra sessions for part-time children will be invoiced and payable in the following month. No refunds are given for absenteeism.

Nursery Care Package

In addition to standard nursery fees, we apply a Nursery Care Package fee for funded sessions. This fixed contribution is added to your averaged monthly balance, so you pay the same amount each month.

The Care Package helps us provide a richer experience for your child by covering:

  • Everyday essentials (nappies, wipes, sacks & creams)
  • Freshly prepared meals
  • Stay & Play sessions
  • Special activities and visits from external providers
  • Celebrations and events (such as graduation ceremonies)

This ensures we can continue offering high-quality care, exciting activities, and those little extras that make nursery life special.

Nursery Education Funding (NEF)

We accept government-funded childcare hours. Entitlements are as follows:

  • From 9 months to 2 years
    • 15 hours per week for eligible working parents
    • Increasing to 30 hours from 1 September 2025
  • 2 Year olds
    • 15 hours per week for eligible working parents
    • 15 hours per week for families receiving additional support (previously called the 2-year-old disadvantaged entitlement)
    • Increasing to 30 hours from 1 September 2025
  • 3 & 4 Year olds
    • Universal entitlement: 15 hours per week for all children
    • Additional 15 hours per week for eligible working parents

Important to note:

  • NEF is funded for 38 weeks per year only.
  • You will need to pay full nursery fees for any additional weeks your child attends.
